剧情简介　方·瓦克斯曼（伍迪·艾伦），是两界奥斯卡的获得者，70到80年代是他的黄金期。而现在这个神经质的导演现已经有点江郎才尽了，急需要一个机会。当这个机会来临，瓦克斯曼却发现自己进了死胡同！
　　瓦克斯曼的前妻艾丽（逖·莱奥尼）把他介绍给了一个大老板（翠特·威廉姆斯），他愿意为瓦克斯曼投资拍电影。可是他这个艾丽现任男友的身份让瓦克斯曼非常不舒服。俗话说，福无双至，祸不单行。正当瓦克斯曼雄心勃勃准备东山再起的时候，他却得了暂时性失明症。这决不能让别人知道，谁会放心让一个瞎子拍电影？
